CARTER, George (Thomas; Edward; Cpt Thomas Carter) b abt 1725-30 d abt 1785 m Frances NEALE of Westmoreland Co. Among others, they had a son George who married twice and lived in Fauquier Co. Trying to determine whether this son, George CARTER, was the same George CARTER who served in the Pittsylvania Co, VA Militia ca 1777. I'm still picking at straws. Lynn Marion
