Researching Thomas CARTER (b. 15 Oct 1591 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England) and his wife Mary ?? (b. 1582, also in Ipswich). These are not the same people as Rev. Thomas CARTER and wife Mary who lived in Massachusetts around the same time. There's lots of information out there on the other Thomas CARTER; not much on this one. He was a blacksmith and a constable in Charlestown, MA. His daughter Mary married John BRINSMEAD in 1639. Do you know any more about this family? Any help will be much appreciated!
