Am trying to locate relatives of my ggggrandfather Thomas I CARTER bn abt 1786 in "Old Dominion"--may have been part of VA that was KY. He got a landgrand in KY around the Cumberland Lake area. He lived in Cumberland/Russel Co area. It is believed that he was killed in the War of 1812 and is buried in Marion Co Ky. He had several children but I do not know who they are except for my ggrandfather George Washington CARTER bn 1807 in Russel Co Ky. A copy of the 1790 KY CENSUS INDEX list Carters in Woodford Co George, Henry, and William. I know this is a long shot but GW named 3 of his 12 children those names. I am hoping someone has a link to my Thomas Isaac. He married an Elizabeth ? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
