I need information on a Robert Carter that lived in Halifax Co., VA about 1780-1800. He married Martha (Payton?) and moved to Green/Hart Co., KY about 1801. He may have had brothers: Mansfield and Brittan, among others. Does anyone have information on the Carter family of Halifax Co.? Robert's parents may have been Robert and Sarah. Thank you, Bertha
