NATHAN inlisted in the Army of the U. S. in 1779 at Boscauen N. H. The comander of his reg. Was Col. Dawe. NATHAN served for three months at Portsmouth NH. and was discharged in Nov. 1779. NATHAN again entered the service in Sept. 1781 and went to New Milford. He then was ordered to Charlestown N. H. and was assigned to Co. of Capt. HEAD in the command of Col.
