I am looking for information on James E. Carter b. 24 Nov. 1833 in TN. His parents were from TN and NC. He came to AR by 1860 and was married in abt. 1870-72. I have absolutely no information prior to his coming to AR. Is there anyone who has a Carter family in TN that might be able to help me with finding the parents of James.
