Thomas Carter b. ca 1797, SC; probably married twice; 1st wife may have been Henriette Seay (according to a g Aunt of mine); In 1840 he was in Meriwether Co., Ga; in 1850 Coosa Co., Al with wife Sarah ? ; in 1870 he is living with his son Matthew: do not find him after that. Ar (later named Faulkner Co) (my ancesters) Where in SC did Thomas Carter come from? Was Henritetta Seay his wife? Who was wife Sarah ? . When and where did Thomas Carter die? Did he leave a will? Was there an estate settlement? If he was married to Henrietta Seay, was she a sister of James Seay in Meriwether Co., Ga? Thanks for any help! Peggy Tilley
