Thomas Carter b. ca 1797, SC; probably married twice; 1st wife may have been Henriette Seay (according to a g Aunt of mine); In 1840 he was in Meriwether Co., Ga; in 1850 Coosa Co., Al with wife Sarah ? ; in 1870 he is living with his son Matthew: do not find him after that.
