Hello, I am trying to find the family of my James E. Carter. All I know is that he was from TN. He arrived in Independence Co., AR between 1860-1870. He would have been about 17 in the 1850 TN Census. Below is a list of families that had a James around this age in the 1850 TN Census. Will you please help me to eliminate any of the families by looking at these and letting me know if you know what happened to this specific James? Maybe you might know the other folks, but not the James that would help also. I would really appreciate you help with this. I don't really know what else to try. GREENE CO.
