I'm seeking information on Juliet CARTER ,wife of Capt. Robert E. LEE Jr. My grandmother always stated that she was a granddaughter of LEE through Mary?! I think Robert Jr.'s daughter?? I have not been able to connect the GLOVER or IRBY surname to the LEE chart except, one Mary married a John GLOVER in the 1950's that too late in time. DOES anyone know of an IRBY, GLOVER connection to Juliet CARTER/LEE?? I'd SURE appreciate the help!! My grandmothers mother was Tennessee Virginia IRBY born:1858 near the Tennessee Virginia border.
