I am seeking information on my g-g/m, Mary Emer CARTER, b. 01 Apr 1854, md. John Jefferson TEEL; d.28 Oct 1941. Mary lived in TN, where most (if not all) of her 9 or 10 children were born. Either 2 or 3 died in TN before the family picked up and moved to TX (John by covered wagon across the Miss. River and through AR; Mary with the younger children by train through MS and LA into TX). John and youngest dau. Myrtle continued on to NM, due to John's tuberculosis, where he died Aug 1907. Mary ("Emer") remained with the rest of the children (after John's death) in Hopkins, Hunt, and Dallas counties.
