Hi list my name is Rita Gipe my daughter married into the Carter family and would like to trace their roots for her children.This is what I know.Daniel Carter from Goochland County Virginia married Elizabeth L. Mayo.I know more about Elizabeth,she was b.1824,d 1882 her parents were George & Elizabeth W. Mayo.I don't have a marriage date but I do know they had at least 2 children .Charles Davis Carter was born in 1866 and had at least one sister Nannie?Does anyone have a connection to this Daniel Carter family?Thanks Rita
