Hi all, I am hoping to get in contact with descendants of my great-grandfather, Hiram Lee Carter's brother Penfield Carter's descendants. Penfield 1855-1934, my Grandma called him "Uncle Penney" and Lee were sons of Henry W. Carter and Martha America Carter of Amelia County, Virginia. He married to Anna "Annie" Word in Christian county, Kentucky in 1880, they had 4 children: Florence Bennie Carter b.1884, Ky, md. to Stephen Edward Everette/Everett, they had a daughter named Anna Florence who md. Otto Fish Katie Mae Carter 1891-1978, she md. A. F. Wortham Martha Ann Carter 1897-1972, not md. as far as I know Houston Carter 1902-1984, he md. to Mary Helen Butler, they had 4 children.
