I am trying to find the family of Jesse Carter who died in Wake County, North Carolina in 1804. His wife was Ruth, and his son was William. I believe that this Jesse Carter was related to Captain Thomas Carter from VA, but I can't find a Jesse in that line who was married to "Ruth". Ruth who??? Does anyone know about Jesse and Ruth? Other Carters mentioned are: Thornton, Mary, Susan, Sarah, Jincy, Rebecca, Sally, & Thomas.
