I'm interested in the name "Salathiel." My great grandmother, Julina CARTER JONES DICKERSON RUSK, had a brother, Salathiel. They were the children of Sarah and James CARTER. Salathiel was born May 5, 1816, in Virginia, so don't know if this is your Salathiel. I'm so interested in the name because I can't imagine from what the name was derived. I don't recall anything in the bible that would suggest such a name. His siblings were Eden, Samuel, Washington, Julina, Sarah Jane, James and Alfred Gibson. John
