Carter & Wallace Cousins, We (our list) was the victim of a deceitful SPAM attack last night. An individual subscribed to MANY lists at RootsWeb offering access to books with information pertaining to genealogy research in Northern Ireland. He offered these books for sale and then as quickly, unsubscribed. Please note: The Carter & Wallace lists are not a venue for commercial sales. We do not permit nor does RootsWeb permit such activity and abuse. If the offender had not almost immediately unsubscribed, he would have been removed from the list. I have taken steps and blocked his email address from future subscriptions. When you see such activity, please do not respond to their bait.
