My great Aunt Barb told me probably 30 years ago that our Carter family was kin to June Cash Carter. Aunt Barb's mother was Jane (Jenie) Carter b. in Sumner County, TN. She knew June Carter Cash's mother's name. I've tried to find the tie, but haven't yet. My Carter is Harris Carter from Halifax County, NC, into TN about 1820.
