Are they related to the carters in GA.? I am trying to find my Phillips and Carters connections. We were always around Carters and I was sure somewhere in the lines we were related. Just can't prove it. The Carter were in St. Louis in 1938 and in Illinois and Indiana by the late 1970's, I do believe they had family and cousins named Frost, Brown, and Kerstings. An connections?
