Hi, I'm new to this list and hoping someone can help in my search for my grandparents whom I never met. Elizabeth CARTER was born in1861 in Audley Staffordshire the daughter of Thomas CARTER (a Coal miner) and I believe, Mary Ann STANWAY. She married Benjamin BELL (a Coal Miner) in 1883 at the Parish Church, Audley, Staffordshire where they were resident. (I have a copy of the certificate) The marriage was witnessed by George Proctor and Mary Pauli, the certificate being signed by John Pauli. They subsequently moved to London after Benjamin had an accident,and emigrated to Canada in 1905 where Elizabeth died in 1949. I would appreciate any help of where to go next. Joye
