I am looking for any information regarding the Carter family members that traveled/moved from down on the Rappahannock River,( Corotoman, Sabine Hall, Cleve, etc. James River Branch, Shirley), to the part of Virginia that would later become West Virginia, possibly Greenbriar. I am looking for information on the family of John N. Carter, Born June 9, 1969 in Virginia. He appears on a family tree done in the early to mid 1800's, not the one by Robert Randolph Carter that goes into the 1900's. Robert "King" Carter and his daughters prepared one that was split between the female and male Carters, it probably was done after this one.
