Hunting for Herbert Carter wife unknown of Warren and Halifax CO. NC May have come from Northampton NC 1777-1800 died after a fall at 103. His son Jesse married Sallie Ann Whitaker in Littleton. It straddles Warren and Halifax Co., ca 1846 . Jesse 1824-1894, Sallie Ann 1825-1891 They had 7 children, three sons all born there. Joseph John, Robert Dudley, Thomas Vance and Jesse Lowe. Joseph John Married Alverda Ellen Hopkins while visiting Maryland and returned to NC having 6 sons. Finally moving to Baltimore in 1896. Pat
