Hello My Samuel Carter (b. abt 1745, probate 1810) was in North Carolina before he died in Nelson County, Kentucky. However, there were some of my family names found in Kentucky that were in Fairfax County, Virginia earlier (specifically Carter, Beckwith, Brown). Has anyone tied into a group of Carters who traveled from Virginia, to NC, then the Nelson County Kentucky area? I realize that the way to NC was through VA unless they landed there. Kathie -- M.
