Hello, I am looking for the siblings and parents of John Lee Carter born supposedly in Mississippi, but I the first time I found him was in 1900 Alabama Census and then the 1910 Alabama Census, then in 1920 Tishomingo County, Mississippi Census. After that he moved to Colbert County, Alabama where his wife died in 1921. He then disappeared until 1944 where he was placed in a boarding house in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. He died January 7, 1950 in Memphis, Shelby County, Mississippi and was buried in Iuka, Tishomingo County, Mississippi at New Prospect Cemetery next to his wife Ella L. Carter. John Lee Carter born: March 7, 1864 died: January 7, 1950 His children was: Lillian Carter married Fred Tapp Frank Burkett Carter married (1) Ida Belle (2) Jesse Florence Carter married Ben Carter James Emmal Carter married (1) Ora Pheobe Elliott (2) Unknown Archie Dean Carter married Lida Mae Hill Mattie Mae Carte married Willard Wilemon Bessie Lee Carter married (1) John Wiley (3) ?? Hamilton Willie Elizabeth Carter married Charles Alonzo Pool(e) Edgar Virgil Carter married Leona Brown (the above Edgar was called either Edward or Edd.) James Emmal Carter had another child by his second wife, the name of this child is Emmal Dean Carter, unsure where he was born nor do I know where he is at right now.
