    3. Hi List: Well, I bit the big weenie and subscribed to Ancestry. My first hit was with the 1900 Idaho Federal Census: Carter, Frank, head of household (b Oct. 1876; single; born Michigan, a farmer) Carter, A.B., brother (b. Sept. 1868; married; born Michigan, farm labor) Carter, Myrtle, sister-in-law (b July 1877; married; born Kansas) Carter, George, nephew (b. Oct. 1896; born Washington) Carter, Lee, nephew (b. March 1899; born Idaho) Carter, N.T. (or F?), father (b. Jan 1837; born Michigan [father born Illinois, mother born Canada]) Haven't found them since until Lee shows up on the 1930 Washington census with his family. Any connections? This was actually quite a breakthrough for us as we only went back as far as Lee and had only heard rumors that his father was A.B. (or was it Ab?). Thanks all, Laurie Carter Ilwaco, Washington Not quite the end of the world, but you can see it from here!!
