I have a RUTH CARTER, b 1820 NY, d 1859 NY. She was married to James PIPER. Also, does anyone have a JAMES CARTER in Lyndon NY? Don't have dates on him...but he was only about 10 miles from my Ruth Carter and I'm wondering if there's a connection. Gloria
