I post that I have Caswell Carter b 1799-1808 VA or GA. d before 1850 Platte Co. MO. He m'd Barsheba Linebaugh (Daniel Linebaugh's daughter) was born 1808 in Greene Co., Tenn.. She married (1) Caswell Carter1 on 5 Feb 1838 in Green Co. TN.. Children of Barsheba Linebaugh and Caswell Carter are: 1 Martin Carter, born ca. 1836 in Mo.TN. 2 Mahalah Carter b ca 1838 in TN. 2 Daniel Carter, born ca. 1839 in Mo or TN 3 Rebecca Carter, born ca. 1848 in Mo.. In the 1850 Census of Platte Co. MO Barsheba was living with unmarried children. Martin, Daniel and Rebecca. Mahalah "Hily" was married to Isaac Tipton "Tip" Green and was livinng next door. I forgot to say that Linebaugh family are related to Bowman family all are in the Greene CO. TN area. There are more Carter family member marring into my families there. They are the following Henry Linebaugh b 1 July 1817 or 13 Sept 1887 in Greene Co m'd Nancy Carter 29 Nov 1835 (this all that I know about this family) Joseph Bowman b abt 1791 in Shennandoah Co., Va, d 1872 On White River, Carroll Co., Ark. buried Ruddick Cem., Garfield, Benton Co., Ark . m'd abt 1815 in Greene Co.TN to 1st wife Honour Newman and on 7 Spr 1846 in Greene Co.TN, Elizabeth Carter. The children of Joseph and Elizabeth Carter Bowman were 1. Barbara Ann b 28 Dec 1846 Greene Co.,Tn d 15 Aug 1932 Jackson Twp,Polk,Mo. m'd 24 Dec 1865 to Alfred Alexander Weston in Sullivan,Mo 2. Lydia b abt 1848/89 Greene Co.Tn m'd 8 Apr 1867 to Alexander Boyd in Sullivan,MO 3. Eliza b abt 1850/51 Sullivan,Mo m'd Jim Coleman 4 Nancy b abt 1852/53 Sullivan, Mo m'd Kale Coleman 5. George b 29 Mar 1854 Sullivan,Mo d 15 Dec 1914 Carroll,Ark m'd Dovey Huffman 6. Hannah b abt 1856 Sullivan,Mo 7. Andrew Jackson b abt 1857/58 Sullivan,Mo 8.
