I descend from Piercy Carter b. 1816-1904 married to Gabriel Washington Osteen.b.1813 in Miss. They married Jan. 9.1834... I need help on this Carter Family. Can anyone tell me who the parents of Piercy were. I also have a connection to June Carter Cash. My Gr. Grandmother was Francis Cash b.Nov.25,1947 daughter of Birdet Cash and Harriet Mahala Davis. My Piercy Carter and Gabriel Osteen had a son William Prichard Osteen who married Minerva Ann Mims. William was born in Tenn. in 1840. William and Minerva were married in 1861 Lavaca,Texas.
