Here we go again....I am posting this letter once again in hopes someone will see it and can connect .................................... Well list since I have been spinning my wheels with my Carter's on my father's side of the family I thought I would try the Carter's on my mother's side of the family (no relation we don't think). But I am putting out these Carter's in hope's to find something out about them or make a connection on here hopefully. I will start with my mother's g-grandparents and their children. This is all I have!!! gg-grandparents are as follows: William Madison Carter b. Sept. 15, 1837Georgia.... buried at Comanchee, OK.....married Martha Jane Boone b.Sept.? 1842 also buried in Comanchee, OK. William and Martha's children are as follows. James S. Carter b. 1860 in Arkansas Jefferson Davis Carter b. 1864 Pope Arkansas Sterling Price Carter b. 186? Pope Arkansas Georgia Ellen Carter (my g-grandma) b. Dec. 18, 1877 Died 1957 in Durant, OK, but buried in Antlers, OK next to her husband Charles Benjamin Ladyman. Joseph P. Carter b. 1870 John W. Carter 1872 Iva A. Carter 1877 William A. Carter 1877 My gg-grandma Georgia Ellen Carter married Charles Benjamin Ladyman b. May 20,1857 Arkansas. If anyone sees something here please respond to my email address or the list which ever you prefer. This is all I have on them (Carter's) and hope to find someone who knows who William Madison Carter's parents are and more if you can connect. I was told by Lina that possibly William's parents were Stephen and Leana (Leeanah) Carter And Possibly Leana's father is James Adams who was living with them in 1860 Census?
