Julia, Frame, WV is in Braxton Co. If there is another one I don't know about it. My g-grandfather had a brother settle at the far western side of Braxton Co which is the area Frame is in. He was John Carter (brother) but so far I can't come up with the Carter's you name. I have looked under the Carder spelling as well. They crossed the county line back and forth so difficult to keep up with them sometimes.Would you have a little more info you could give me. I have census records for Braxton, 1880 for Clay, Calhoun, Gilmer and a few more. I have Braxton marriage records 1836-1932, Lewis Co 1816-1865 and some more material.
