    3. Hello ... Ok, I've given up thinking the List owner will contact me, but another member is having real problems. Jane at [email protected] is unable to post anything to the list. However she is able to receive list postings which indicates she is subscribed. Jane thinks the problem may be due to her having been subscribed prior with another e-mail address. Will somone with more expertise then I please help Jane so she can participate? Many thanks, clemi

    3. I believe if Jane will unsubscribe to [email protected] and put Unsubscribe in the subject line and then subscribe with the address she know uses at [email protected] and put Subscribe in the subject line she will be in business. Is this correct folks? 3. To unsubscribe, send a message to: [email protected] in the subject line and also in the message body, type: unsubscribe and nothing else. Send the message and that will take care of the matter. I must stress that in order to unsubscribe, you must use the same email address as was originally used to subscribe. Thank you, Charles E. 3. Hello all and especially listowner, Charles... This is in reference to Jane's problem. I did her a disservice by not telling you that she has tried the subscribe and unsubscribe routine many times and had done so long before I made the suggestion. For some reason, nothing is working and that is why she needed your address, Charles, which she now has (below, Jane). Thank you so much. Now she will be able to have some real help instead of my unqualified ideas. Again, my thanks (and Jane's too, I'm sure), clemi ----- Original Message ----- From: Charles E. 3. The word "Unsubscribe" (without the ""s) should go in the message frame. That is how the computer reads it. The usual recommendation from Rootsweb is to leave the subject line blank, but some e-mail programs will prompt a subject line. (Mine does, but I have the option to ignore it.) So, if you cannot send your message without a subject line, then put "Unsubscribe" in both the subject line AND the message frame. If in doubt look at Rootsweb's front page for help.
