To George and the List - Here is my possible relationship to Capt. Thomas Carter. This is SPECULATION!: Captain Thomas Carter Peter Carter Job Solomon 1. Job had a son named Job, who died in Lexington, KY. There is a record of the son's will,which was probated in 1811. His brother Solomon is listed in the will. "My" Solomon Carter lived in Montgomery County at that time, only about 30 miles from Lexington. 2. There was another family (William Carter) in Montgomery County KY who was descended from Captain Thomas Carter's son John. If anyone has more information about Job's brother Solomon, I would really appreciate it! If I can't prove my relationship, at least I would like to eliminate this possibility.
