Hello, I am looking for the parent of John Lee Carter who was born 1864 in either Missisissippi (as listed on the Census's) or Alabama. He married Ella Green ca 1890. Children are: Lillian Carter who married Fred Tapp Frank Burkett Carter married Ida ? Jessie Florence Carter married Ben Rickard James Emmal Carter married (1) Ora Carter (2) Unknown, Archie Dean Carter married Lydia Bessie Lee Carter married unknown Hamilton and Willard Wilemon Mattie Mae Carter married John Wiley Edgar Virgil Carter married (1) unknown ((2) Leona Brown Willie Elizabeth Carter married Charles Alnozo Pool(e) James Emmal Carter had a son by his second wife, his name was Emmal Dean Carter Edgar Virgil Carter had children by his first wife, I dont know the names of those children. They called him Edward instead of his birth name of Edgar. Frank Burkett Carter lived in Dyersburg, Dyer County, Tennessee from 1940 until his death in 1973.
