March-1848 John Taylor Carter b. 1851 in Grainger Co, Tennessee Joel Carter b. 1853 in Grainger Co, Tennessee Anna Carter b. 1857 in Grainger Co, Tennessee William married wife # 2, Mary Hammock On April-06-1864 In Union Co, TN. Their Children were; Louisa A. Carter b. 1865 All Children born in Grainger Co, Tennessee Henry B. Carter b. 1867 James H. Carter b. 1869 William D. Carter b. 1874 Nelson E. "William Carter born 1819 In Guilford Co, North Carolina" As stated in my previous message to the list, my Carter family includes Giles Carter (son of Robert Carter) who was living in Guilford County, North Carolina in 1775, 1778, and 1799. I do not know if he ever married or if he stayed in Guilford County, North Carolina after 1799.
