The following is a short list of the three families: James CARTER (b. 1807, Bartholomew Co. In), married Jahoda (Rhoda) WILSON (b. 1811, Bartholomew, In), in 1828 in Bartholomew Co. Indiana. John, born 1838 (my gr gr grandfather) Lewis, born 1843 Elijah, born 1846 Nancy S., born 1848/1849. John CARTER married Nancy Ann BUTNER (b 1844) in 1864. They had the following 11 children: Mary Elvira, b 1866. James Elijah, b. 1867.
