I am trying to locate Margaret that was working a couple of years ago on Goodloe Carter. We conversed several times back about 2-3 years ago about our Carters, trying to get the lines straight. I am now looking into Goodloe Carter and found a query where you state "get in touch with you because you have that line". I am trying to narrow down possibilities still, going back to Bailey Carter. I noticed one of Goodloe's children married a Twyman, as did one of my husbands Carters. But I need to know which line Goodloe's father George was from. I know George married Frances Diane Goodloe. But, have you all ever proven who George's father was exactly? Other than just what a book might say, have you all ever found definite proof? I am hoping you can help. thanks, Kathy Wells.
