I am interested in the Carter family originally from Yarmouth. I have a James Carter in my line born in 1831 in Yarmouth who was a merchant seaman. He was father to my ggrandfather William Henry Carter who was born in Yarmouth in 1865. He was a fisherman who moved north to Grimsby in around 1900.
