There is so much activity on this line lately that I thought I would try again to find information on my great-grandfather..... James Perry Carter.. ..born 31 May 1860 somewhere in Tennessee. Married Laura Pendley 3 July 1887 in Cadron, Faulkner, Arkansas. He had sisters Ann and Florence and brothers Bud and Horace. His family was supposedly from England and they played violin (fiddle). He worked for the Railroad and lived in Arkansas and Oklahoma! Any help would be appreciated as I have been at a DEAD END for the last ten years! Thanks for any help that is forthcoming. Laura Pierson
