Candace and anyone else that is researching Carters. This past summer I visited NC on a genealogy hunt. The Old Mountain Creek Cemetery is not by the church. From what I was able to find out, there is an old cemetery on Old mountain Creek road, but we could not find it. I understand it is not maintained any longer and is not listed in the genealogy library in Stanly Co. If there is anyone on the ground in this area, could you try and locate the cemetery.
