Recently Kitty Hoffman asked about Solomon CARTER who died in GA in the 1800's. Mike Shaw responded with Solomon and Mary Ann BICKLEY dau of John BICKLEY Solomon who married Mary Ann, died 18 Sept 1788, Amherst County, VA., so he wouldn't be the same Solomon that Kitty is looking for. Children I have for Solomon and Mary are: William, Abraham, Millicent (Milla), Peter, Sallie, Elisha, Patty and Nancy. While this isn't my Carter line, (I'm stymied with a Joseph Carter b ca 1750) I have followed for a friend one line of the son William who was born 21 Aug 1760 Amherst Co, VA and died 15 Oct 1842, Ohio Co, KY.
