    3. My James Carter was born 1815, possibly NC; had a son William b.1837 TN. This whole family went to Texas from Miss. about 1851. William had sons Frank 1890 and James 1892. It's possible William had other sons earlier than that, tho I have no info on that. I know he had several daughters beginning 1870. S. M.
