I am searching for a Clinton Carter who married a lady whos maiden name was Turner. They were in the Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY area in 1880 and before. Their daughter, Alice Hannah Carter, was my gr-grandmother. She married Hiram Williams in Cumberland Co., KY in 1881. There was also a daughter named Amelia (Mela) Carter who married an Alfred Anderson in the same county in 1886. There were at least 2 other children, Jane and John, in this Carter family.
