Geri, I do not understand the nature of your response. I indicated that Solomon's was not my line. However I am looking for the parents of my Joseph CARTER who was said to be born ca 1750. He married Nancy MENEFEE, dau of William and Mildred (Gaines) MENEFEE, 24 June 1778, in Henry Co, VA. I am leaning toward his being a member of George and Lydia (Worth) CARTER family of Chester Co, PA. The only way we'll ever know for certain is if I can make connection to members of that family who might have proof that my Joseph's is indeed from this family. The family were Quakers. All I know is that their Joseph b in 1749 went to VA and 'married out'. Hopefully soon a member of that family can be found who'll do the DNA thing. Lynn Marion
