This father/son relationship in provisional based on their ages, proximity in the 1820 Stewart Co.,TN census record and Nathan Carter acting as administrator of Ephraim’s estate. The only probate record of Ephraim abt. 1774-1824 found is an entry in the Stewart Co. settlement book stating Nathan as administrator of his estate. At present, without futher research, I believe that Nathan of the 1820 Stewart Census is the same Nathan of 1830 + census of Henry County, TN. Is this Ephraim any of or have connection to any of the the Ephraims found in the North Carolina Census below. Curious about the Carter’s of Greene county, are they related? Thanks, Tana 1. Do you have these girls' names in your Carter family? Penantse, Penatha, Penina, Thank you,
I am looking for any information on Daisy Adel Carter. She was born about 1881, and married Eckford C. Whaley. They lived in North Carolina around Duplin County. I believe they are in the 1910 census in Johnson County. Not sure on the county. I have two possible names for her father, Brett, or Read. I also have two possible names for her mother, Nancy, or Emily. Not to sure about the name Nancy. I was told these names 20 years ago, but have confused Eckfords parents with Daisy's parent's names.
