I have, on not much evidence, that the William Carson who died before November 1787 in Washington Co NC/TN had seven children: Catherine/Isabella, Elizabeth, John, David, Jane, Mary, & William. There is solid evidence that Catherine/Isabella married Alexander Sloan. They died in Lafayette Co MO in 1846 Sister Elizabeth married Joseph Steele 29 Oct 1785 in NC. At least she, too, died in Cooper or lafayette Co MO after 1840. These two families were part of the Cumberland Presbyterian migration from East TN (Blount Co TN tax list 1800-1801) through the Christian Co KY area where they appear in the 1810 census to Cooper Co MO by 1820 with CPC founder Rev Finis Ewing.
