There is some question as to thier mother we have little information on her, we think she is Sarah Bates. Thier father is John Carson born 1786 in South Carolina. We do have a David Carson born 1762 born in County Down Ireland. We also have a David Porter Carson, born 1814 to Adam Carson born 1764 Ireland & Sarah McGough

My 3rd great grandfather was a George Carson who died in Pike County MS. He was born about 1773 and died about 1840. His wife Elizabeth was born in SC but I do not even have a name for his other wife (my 3rd great grandmother). Do these Carson's sound familiar?
