So, it is likely that he married Rachel (maiden name??) here in the US. She is mentioned in his will, as are his son and four daughters. David was apparently married twice. I have some fairly good evidence that he married Elizabeth Beaty in 1784. But, his older children - including my husband's ancestor Robert b. 1762 - must have had a different mother. So, I am busily seeking out such evidence. What does the 1786 reference mean? I am not sure I understand the significance of "F&B". Thanks, Gary. I appreciate your insight.
