A John McFarland was in Washington Co TN 1810 and a James McFarland witnessed the deed of William Carson dec'd 1812 deeding to his son. Benjamin McFarland sold land to Robert Carson in Jefferson Co TN (on the French Broad), witnessed by John McFarland and R McFarland. Benjamin McFarland's will in 1823 Jefferson Co TN listed sons John, Andrew, dtr Mary Bradford wife of Benjamin Brandford and Rachel Bradford, witnessed by John L. Carson and Thomas Snoddy.
