I have seven children born to Alexander and Rachel in my database: Alexander Lincoln - born 21 Oct 1872, married in 1901 to Nellie Morris, died 7 Nov 1899 George Washington - born 31 Dec 1875, died 10 Jul 1876 William Samuel - born abt. Jul 1877, died 22 Apr 1884 Jane M. - born abt. Sep 1879, died 8 Jul 1881 David Garfield - born 7 Apr 1882, married Elizabeth A. Jordan in 1906 George G. - born Jul 1885 Walter D. - born 16 Jul 1891 Alexander Carson, married to Rachel McCrea, was born abt. 1837 in Ireland. He came to America with his parents, Samuel (farmer) and Ruth, and his siblings, Margaret, William, and Ruth, aboard the ship Kalamazoo, leaving from Liverpool, England and arriving on 1 October 1850 at the port of Philadelphia. I found a death record for a Ruth Carson, born in Ireland and living at 2113 Coral Street in Philadelphia, who died 8 December 1866 and was buried in Franklin Cemetery. I believe this is the above Ruth, wife of Samuel, but I'm not absolutely certain. I would appreciate very much if you could tell me where you found Ruth's and Rachel's maiden names.
