I'm researching Carson, Egan. My ancestor James Robert Carson was born in Phoenix, Arizona abt 1873-5. His parents were James Robert Carson and Mary Elizabeth Egan and they came from Ireland. He was in Australia in 1912 and worked as an assistant surveyor on the rail lines in Powelltown, Victora. James married Margaret Johnson in 1912 and they moved to South Australia and had twin girls. I have written to this list a couple of times with a request to see if anyone in Phoenix could help me as I am not sure where to look now for any information on the parents.
