But my brother and I have done several different DNA tests and we are closely related to McClain, McClure, McLauglin, Beattie/Beaty/Beatty, Ramsey McCord, etc. I don't find all these names in our tree (yet), but the DNA connects us. I found Colonial tax records from Lancaster County, PA from 1771, 1772, 1773, 1779 and 1782...and all those family names were living near one another. Has anyone in this group had a male do a Y-DNA test done? My brother (Carson) is R1b1a2.
