He served in the Rev. War and died in Warren County TN about 1842. Robert was the father of Catherine Carson who married John Miller in Warren county, TN. I have searched for months now trying to find a clue as to who Robert's parents were. I suspect Robert is related to David Carson, surveyor of Washington County, VA because their lives parallel each other so closely but no source for that relationship to date.
